The Washington State University tuba-euphonium studio is home to students from throughout the Northwest and around the United States.  Dedicated, friendly, and supportive, these students pursue degrees in music performance, music education, and composition in beautiful Pullman, WA.

The studio remains active by performing as a tuba choir on campus and in the local community. Additionally, the studio host guest artists from around the country.  This year invited artists include Benjamin Pierce and Scott Watson.  Studio members helped host the 2013 and 2017 Northwest Regional Tuba-Euphonium Conference on our campus.  Other activities include Oktubafest, Holiday Low Brass, and other special performances.

Alumni of Dr. Dickey's studio hold teaching positions in the Northwest.  Some students have continued their education by pursuing master's and doctoral degrees at institutions such as The University of Iowa, Eastman, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory.  Students have been prizewinners at regional, national, and international competitions through the International Tuba-Euphonium Association and Music Teachers National Association.  Many tuba-euphonium students receive merit-based scholarships offered by the School of Music.

Members of the WSU tuba-euphonium studio are members of International Tuba-Euphonium Association, National Association for Music Education, and College Music Society.
